Alakef Coffee Roasters is committed to protecting your privacy online. All orders placed on our site are protected by the highest level of encryption and cannot be viewed or altered as your information travels to our secure server. Credit card transactions are processed by a third-party financial institution. They receive only enough credit card or check billing information to determine validity and to process your transaction. Alakef Coffee Roasters does not sell or share names, credit card data, or any personal information with any other third party. Any information shared with Alakef Coffee Roasters will be the sole possession of Alakef Coffee Roasters and will be used for Alakef Coffee Roasters purposes only.
Customer Security
Protecting our cusomers' confidential information is a priority for us. When you place an order online with Alakef Coffee Roasters, we collect your name, contact information, billing address and shipping addresses, credit card information, and email address, which are automatically transferred "secure socket layer" (SSL) technology. This information is encrypted and is not accessible to anyone else online. We use this information to fulfill your order and to communicate with you about it. Your order is then processed internally; no one but our order processors will have access to your information. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. By using our Web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information by us for processing and shipping purposes only.
Quality Guarantee
We are confident that our customers will find the quality of our coffee products to be second to none. However, if a shipment arrives damaged, we will gladly rectify the matter to your satisfaction.
Payment Methods
Our shopping cart system accepts payment using Visa and MasterCard. If you prefer not to pay for your purchase by credit card, we also accept money orders and personal or corporate checks. With this method of payment, you must call in your order over the phone at 800-438-9228. In addition, the check must clear with our bank before we can ship your order. All prices listed are in U.S. dollars. If items you order are out of stock or unavailable, we will notify you by phone and/or email, and your payment will not be processed.
Sales Tax
We are required to collect sales tax of 6.5% on all orders being shipped to customers in the State of Minnesota. This tax is calculated on the total of merchandise and any shipping/handling charges.
Shipping and Handling Charges
We will contact you directly if there are additional shipping charges due. If the estimate is more than the total amount due for shipping, we will chargeback the difference to your credit card, or issue you a refund check.
Returns
Alakef Coffee Roasters is committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and total satisfaction. We promise you the highest quality foods and ingredients. For return authorization or questions about your order, please call our customer service desk at 800-438-9228 between normal business hours (8:00am and 5:00pm Central Time, Monday through Friday) and please allow for a 12- to 24-hour response. Refunds and exchanges are provided for non-perishable products returned in salable condition within 30 days of receipt with return merchandise authorization (RMA). Refunds or credits will be provided in the case of spoilage, spillage, damage, or an error on our part. A valid RMA number must be included on the shipping label or we will refuse the package. Full credit for the returned item(s) will be issued for unopened and undamaged merchandise within 10 business days of our receipt of the returned package. We do not issue call tags, and all return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Your card will be credited on receipt of the return, and you will be notified via email. Any and all shipping costs cannot be refunded. After 30 days past your receipt of shipment, no returns are accepted. We cannot offer refunds, credit, or exchanges if you made a selection that does not appeal to your palate.
