At Alakef Coffee Roasters, we support fair trade and sustainable agriculture. This means trying to buy as many quality organic coffees, shade grown coffees, and coffees with fair trade status as possible. By buying these coffees, we are providing you with high quality coffees and reinforcing our commitment to the farmers and the environment.
Coffee flavor is impacted by where the coffee comes from and how it is roasted. Therefore, in addition to carefully selecting the origin of our coffees, each batch of coffee is custom roasted. This is done to allow the unique characteristics of every bean to develop fully and ensure consistent quality and taste. Before buying any coffee, samples are cupped for quality at our roasterie ensuring that each and every single origin has the taste profile we are looking for. We roast only to order and then package and ship the coffee the same day. Our goal is to ensure that you receive only the freshest possible coffee.
